A touch of spice for eminently sensual fragrances
In the family of oriental spicy perfumes, the traditional ingredients of oriental fragrances, such as vanilla, balsam or benzoin, are enhanced by spicy and spicy notes such as cinnamon, ginger, pepper, cardamom ... This combination of raw materials gives rise to very sensual perfumes without being sickening, where the spices bring a spiciness and a hint of lightness.

Spicy orientals: some illustrious representatives
Impossible to talk about spicy Oriental perfumes without evoking "Opium" by Yves Saint Laurent. This classic among the classics celebrates spices such as cinnamon, pepper and pepper in top notes, combined with a very floral heart around jasmine, carnation, rose and ylang- ylang. In the background, there is a fairly common oriental association with vanilla, benzoin, opoponax and patchouli. Another great representative of this movement: "Coco" by Chanel. The fruity notes of peach and tangerine grow on a spicy (clove) heart and flowers (orange blossom, pink, mimosa) and a warm woody bottom (vanilla, sandalwood and amber). In men too, these fragrances have the wind in their sails. For example, Viktor & Rolf's "Spicebomb", released in 2012: its very fresh and lively notes (grapefruit and bergamot) are enhanced by a spicy heart composed of chilli, pepper and saffron, on a background of oriental notes, vetiver, leather and tobacco. Result: a hot and explosive perfume addressed to the charismatic men who cultivate the mystery.
